We used the pramhood-system for this bivvy, too, due to it´s stability and quick erection time. The XLD bivvy is by far roomier than our 2 man bivvies and it´s higher, too.

To keep you save from bad weather we invented this doubleskin bivvy. Condensate will evade through the gaze to the overwrap and will run down there. For that reason the inner shell stays dryer than most more expensive alternatives without wrap. The Hot Spot XLD has an easy erectable 4-rib system made of high strength 6061 aluminium with 19 mm diameter and an absolutely waterproof 6 oz. 210D polyestercover with a hydrostatic head of 10.000 mm. The new bowl-shaped groundsheet makes erection easier and keeps rodents off. An included extensive set of equipment leaves nothing to be desired.
